World Series Watch Party - Water Street Tavern - Starting Pitcher Andy Sonnanstine, Kent State Alumnus

KENT, Ohio - The Water Street Tavern is hosting a special viewing party on
Sunday (Oct. 26) to cheer on Kent State University alum Andy Sonnanstine as
he takes the hill in Game 4 of the World Series for the Tampa Bay Rays.
First pitch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m.

Water Street Tavern will have complimantary hot dogs and popcorn for fans to
enjoy while watching the game on the tavern's 14 HD flatscreens in their
newly renovated space.

For the 2008 season, Sonnanstine went 13-9 with a 4.38 ERA, allowing only 94
earned runs in 193.1 innings pitched. In his first postseason, Sonnanstine
is 2-0 with a 3.46 ERA. Against both the Chicago White Sox in the division
series and the Boston Red Sox American League Championship Series,
Sonnanstine was the winning pitcher of game four in dominating fashion.

At Kent State, Sonnastine went 13-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 26 appearances over
two seasons. In 2004, the Wadsworth native set single-season records for
innings pitched (125), wins (11) and strikeouts (117).
